Win Win Gaming buys wireless tournament software

LAS VEGAS-Gambling and lottery game publisher Win Win Gaming Inc. will spend $400,000 on a suite of wireless tournament offerings from Bijou Studios Inc., the companies said Wednesday.

Win Win agreed to purchase ClanPass, a software package that facilitates chat, messaging and instant challenges between players during tournament games. The application also can integrate third-party servers to create and manage tournament-related statistics, rankings and prizes.

“Acquiring the ClanPass tournament system is another key step in the company’s strategy to expand wireless gaming operations,” said Patrick Rogers, chief executive officer of Win Win Gaming. “Because ClanPass offers a complete, end-to-end toolkit for wireless game systems, including the ability to customize applications to meet specific market needs, we also see the potential for private-labeling opportunities with third-party brands.”
