Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications Ltd explained about the “IS04” and “T006” portable devices developed for the mobile network of KDDI Corp at a press conference Feb 2, 2011, in Tokyo.
The IS04 is a smartphone based on the Android 2.2 software platform, and the T006 is a mobile phone based on the KCP+ software platform.
The press conference was organized because the IS04 and the T006 will be released on February 10 and in mid-February, respectively.
Both of them were announced in October 2010 as “winter and spring models.” They feature the “Mobile Regza Engine” super-resolution technology and the “CDMA 1 x EV-DO Multi-carrier Rev.A,” which bundles multiple carrier waves.
