Mobile social networking co. gains $1M

SAN FRANCISCO-Trilibis Mobile, which provides mobile software solutions for online communities and content providers, said it raised $1 million in its series A private placement round.

The funds will be used for further product development, general sales and marketing programs.

Trilibis released its first mobile community service in 2003. Its Peepsnation service is a revenue-generating subscription-based mobile social networking community, said the company.

The company also announced it has appointed Ted Verani senior vice president of business development with responsibility for spearheading strategic account development and alliance management.
