Mobile gaming is one of 2010’s hottest trends, which is why RCR Unplugged was so excited to stumble across this rather remarkable Qualcomm sponsored video this morning over at Netbook News.
Showing a peer-to-peer gaming demo between three people on different devices – a Nokia Maemo, a Google Nexus One and a laptop – Qualcomm shows off how it believes modern chip technology can enhance mobile user experience.
Of course, Qualcomm supports peer-to-peer software with its chipsets using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so the more rapidly the trend takes off, the more chipsets the firm will sell – ergo, it’s certainly not all “casual” gaming where Qualcomm is concerned.
