TUCSON, Ariz.-Authentix Network Inc.’s Roamer Verification Reinstatement technology has been recognized by the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association.
“RVR is now recognized as one of the effective solutions of fraud prevention,” said Tom McClure of CTIA. “No single weapon can fight fraud effectively under all conditions. It takes an arsenal of weapons.
“We are appreciative of Authentix’s contributions in developing this important technology,” he added.
RVR prevents roaming fraud through the use of the national Interim Standard-41 network, permitting routing of roamer calls to a specific destination for verification.
Calls are either reinstated or denied once verified by RVR.
