SAN FRANCISCO-Pacific Bell Mobile Services established four new regional headquarters in California to manage the company’s personal communications services markets.
The new headquarters are located in San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Diego.
The office in the San Francisco Bay area will be headed by Terrence Valeski, who previously was the company’s vice president for marketing and business development. The San Francisco region extends from the Oregon state line to the Monterey Peninsula.
Andy Wilson, formerly of Cellular One in Boston, will head the Sacramento office, which covers an area from the Oregon state line through the northern part of California’s Central Valley, east to Reno, Nev.
The Los Angeles office will be directed by Steve Sitton, who joins the company from Cellular One in Washington. The Los Angeles area covers Greater Los Angeles and Orange County east to Nevada.
The San Diego office will be led by Steve Richardson, who most recently was with Cellular One in Chicago. The San Diego region stretches from the Pacific Ocean across the lower part of Arizona.
Pacific Bell Mobile Services said it plans to begin offering service in Los Angeles in the second quarter of 1997 and across much of California and Nevada by mid-1997. The company is a subsidiary of Pacific Telesis Group, an SBC Communications Inc. company.
