MANCHESTER, N.H.-Transcept Inc., a developer of radio-frequency distribution solutions for wireless telecommunications, announced a strategic partnership with LG Information & Communications Ltd. to jointly market Transcept/LGIC solutions for Code Division Multiple Access wireless operators.
The companies reported successful first-phase product interoperability testing and certification of Transcept’s TransCell line of alternative RF distribution equipment and LGIC Starex base stations, newly modified specifically for the joint configuration.
Future efforts between the companies will include wireless network equipment configurations designed to support advanced standards for both voice and data applications.
