LONDON-U.K.-based wireless device operating system developer Symbian said it appointed Nigel Clifford as its chief executive officer. He will take over the post in June.
Clifford most recently served as CEO of Tertio Telecoms Ltd., which was sold to Evolving Systems Inc. in November. Tertio develops and markets billing and management software to fixed, cable and mobile operators. He has also worked at Cable & Wireless.
Clifford replaces David Levin, who announced his resignation earlier this year.
