SAN FRANCISCO-Telephia Inc. and Lightbridge Inc. have formed an alliance designed to allow wireless telecom carriers and handset manufacturers to better analyze and influence the behavior of their customers at the point of sale.
Telephia, a provider of wireless strategic marketing intelligence, will utilize information gathered by Lightbridge, an enabler of customer relationship management solutions for communications providers, to give wireless carriers information for improving their customer acquisition, retention and risk management strategies.
“We’re looking forward to helping our clients better segment and analyze their new wireless subscribers through our point-of-sale intelligence service,” explained James Drummey, director of client services for Telephia. “The new information will provide unprecedented insight into the wireless sales process.”
The companies said preliminary intelligence is expected to be available in the third quarter.
