CALGARY, Alberta-Canadian Telecommunications company Telus Mobility and Nortel Networks Corp. announced plans to work together to test cdma2000 third-generation digital radio technology.
Nortel said it intends to aggressively roll out fully packetized, end-to-end network solutions for wireless Internet. Trials are expected to take place in Calgary this summer using cdma2000 1XRTT digital radio technology.
