Irish telecom regulator seeks comment on spectrum management

DUBLIN, Ireland—Ireland’s telecom regulator published a draft paper on the strategic management of Ireland’s radio spectrum. The regulator is seeking comments on issues raised in the paper, which covers all the key areas of spectrum use, including mobile services.

“My overall objective in this initiative is to develop a national spectrum strategy framework and to establish guiding principles for managing the spectrum in Ireland’s interest,” said Etain Doyle, telecom regulator.
