REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—Openwave Systems Inc. said South American wireless carrier Telesp Celular launched its CDMA 1xRTT network, which is built on the Openwave Mobile Access Gateway.
“Telesp Celular’s high awareness of customer needs has enabled them to make the right decisions on when to launch specific Openwave enabled services in their market, resulting in remarkable adoption,” said Richard Wong, a senior vice president at Openwave.
