TAIPEI, Taiwan—RF Micro Devices announced the opening of a new sales and customer support office in Taipei, Taiwan.
The new office includes a customer development lab equipped for wireless local area network (WLAN) and GSM handset development, which will allow customers to more quickly develop complete product solutions with RFMD chipsets and reference designs. RF Micro Devices said the new office emphasizes its belief in the growth potential of the Asia-Pacific consumer wireless market.
