REDWOOD CITY, Calif.—Wireless Internet giant Openwave Systems Inc. announced it expects its loss for the second quarter to be on the low end of its outlook, but that its revenues will also be slightly less than expected.
The company said its loss for the quarter will be between 6 cents and 9 cents per share. In October, Openwave said it expected a loss of between 6 cents and 19 cents per share.
Openwave also said its revenues will be between $92 million and $97 million, compared with the $100 million the company in October said it expected.
The company’s stock was trading up slightly after the news to about $10 per share. Openwave will release its second-quarter results Jan. 22.
