VANCOUVER, British Columbia—Wireless corporate access provider Veratium Software Ltd. changed its name to Motivus Software Ltd. and promptly announced a new carrier partnership with Bell Mobility.
Bell Mobility will offer its customers the Motivus Mobile Desktop Enterprise Edition, which provides real-time wireless access to desktop and network files, as well as e-mails and attachments. Bell Mobility will offer the product over its CDMA 1xRTT network.
Veratium said it will change its name to that of its flagship product, a move that more accurately reflects the company’s focus.
“Our message is simple,” said Phil Calvin, founder, president and chief executive officer of Motivus. “We want to be known as the mobile desktop company.”
