BUCHAREST, Romania-Jordan mobile operator MobileCom announced it will launch multimedia messaging service (MMS) soon.
MobileCom tested the service, which will transmit high-quality digital images and sound files across its 2.5G network, for both postpaid and prepaid customers.
“MMS is the natural evolution for SMS, taking communications on to a new level and keeping customers connected with pictures and sound. MobileCom will be among the first 20 operators in the world to provide such an exciting new service to its customers,” said Erik Valette, chief marketing officer of MobileCom.
