MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-Data optimization company Bytemobile Inc. made a series of new announcements, including new partnerships and licensing agreements.
Bytemobile said it gained access to image compression technology through a licensing deal with AirZip Inc. and event-based reporting and billing technology through a similar deal with Daedalus Networks. The company said the deals will add further capabilities to its Macara platform, which is an optimization service node for wireless networks.
The company also hired Karl Freter as its new chief architect.
