HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. and LM Ericsson announced a rash of multimedia messaging service deals, further solidifying the companies’ leadership in the MMS infrastructure space.
Nokia said it will provide its MMS product to Polish operator Polkomtel and Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom, and Ericsson announced a similar deal with China Mobile Communications Corp.
Separately, Nokia said it will team with the Korea Game Development & Promotion Institute to develop and deploy Korean digital content for mobile communications.
