GARDEN GROVE, Calif.-Hop-On, which makes prepaid, recyclable mobile phones, announced it licensed CDMA technology from Qualcomm Inc., a move that will allow the company to build CDMA phones.
“This agreement is the latest validation of the global opportunity in front of Hop-On as we work to establish our disposable cell phone as an affordable, mass market communications solution,” said Peter Michaels, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.
