WESTPORT, Conn.-Peace of Mind at Light Speed Inc., a developer of location-based and location-aware services, has entered a strategic alliance with New York-based Igicom L.L.C. to provide in-house software development for POMALS’ data content.
Igicom is an Internet professional services firm that designs and builds advanced, customized Web-based applications focusing on the user experience.

The alliance with Igicom is POMALS’ second. In November, it announced an agreement with Research In Motion Ltd. to develop location-based applications and enterprise solutions for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds.
