ROCKVILLE, Md.-MobilePro Corp. announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire Constellation Networks Corp. The company plans to use stock and cash to acquire and fund the expansion of CNC’s international satellite and fiber network. The transaction is expected to close Sept. 19.
“Not only will CNC provide important new revenue for MobilePro, but we believe CNC’s satellite infrastructure and expanding customer base will provide a foundation to develop and launch new services and applications responsive to global market needs,” said Arne Dunhem, MobilePro’s chairman and chief executive officer.
MobilePro also said its negotiations to acquire GBH Telecom Inc. have been terminated, as the parties were unable to agree to the terms of the transaction.
