BETHLEHEM, Pa.-Synchronoss Technologies, which provides telecom business process outsourcing (BPO) to carriers and large enterprises, announced European banking and financial services company BNP Paribas will outsource the management of wireless devices used by its employees in the United States to Synchronoss.
Specifically, Synchronoss will use its ActivationNow platform to provide managed services including help desk, ordering, number portability and inventory tracking for cell phones used by BNP Paribas’ U.S. employees.
“Today’s news underscores the growing demand by enterprises and carriers for telecom BPO, a category we pioneered,” said Stephen Waldis, president and chief executive officer of Synchronoss. “BNP Paribas understands that as the number of wireless devices in the enterprise grows, so does the management challenge.”
