SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-Portuguese CDMA operator Radiomovel selected Telespree Communications’ automated instant activation solution. Radiomovel offers service under the Zapp brand name.
Telespree said Radiomovel will use the solution for first-time activation of new wireless voice and data devices without customer-care intervention. Customers will be able to purchase devices off the shelf and complete the activation process as soon as they turn on the device.
The initial mobile devices launched with the service are the Flextronics Z010 CDMA2000 1x EV-DO data modem, the Ubiquam Z315i push-to-talk phone and the Wide Telecom Z110 mobile phone.
