Cellular
- Estonia: L.M. Ericsson said Estonian mobile operator EMT launched commercial mobile broadband service based on HSDPA technology provided by Ericsson.
- Russia: Huawei said it won a contract to construct a CDMA2000 network for Skylink, a CDMA operator in Russia.
- Turks and Caicos Islands: Ericsson said it has been selected by Digicel as the exclusive infrastructure provider for a new GSM network.
