Launchpad platform from Bango helps content, ad firms work together

LOS ANGELES–Bango hopes to leverage its position in the off-deck content market space by connecting mobile marketers and publishers.

The U.K.-based firm unveiled Ad-LaunchPad, a platform designed to help content providers join forces with advertising companies. Publishers can use the offering to select from a menu of advertisers on Bango’s home page, determine their level of investment and activate the service.

Bango has gained substantial traction on both sides of the Atlantic by targeting businesses of all sizes with its platform for off-deck transactions. Three mobile marketing companies have signed on as partners for the new mobile marketing solution, and Bango said it expects more advertising partners to come onboard in coming weeks.
