Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) said it is hiring as many as 250 employees at its Oklahoma City Call Center, which handles technical support calls for the operator. The company plans to hold an invitation-only open house at the call center from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 11.
Potential candidates can visit www.sprint.com/callcenterjobs to apply for an invitation to the open house. Sprint said its recruiting team will review each candidate’s information and send special invitations to those who qualify.
“These positions are a great opportunity for people looking to get back into the workforce and who also have a strong desire and passion to provide great service and technical support to wireless customers,” said Craig Sherry, Center Director for the OKC Call Center. “Sprint has been receiving a lot of independent, third-party recognition recently for customer satisfaction. One of those accolades came from a prominent organization, which noted that Sprint was among 40 companies delivering customer service excellence.”
