CHICAGO-Telephone and Data Systems Inc., the company behind U.S. Cellular, said it sold $110 million of its senior notes, which are now expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company said its underwriters have an option to purchase up to $16.5 million of additional notes.
The company said its wireline subsidiary TDS Telecom will use some of the funds to repay a portion of its debt.
TDS’ stock was up slightly to $82.92 per share following the news, while U.S. Cellular’s stock was up slightly to $46.06.
