(Cincinnati and Bangkok; February 14, 2010) – – Eager to increase operational efficiencies and improve customer satisfaction, national telecommunications provider TOT Thailand is replacing its billing and CRM system with Convergys Smart Communications Suite powered by Microsoft® (NASDAQ: MSFT). Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a world leader in relationship management, is acting as the systems integrator for Advanced Information Technology, the local prime integrator contracted to deliver the system replacement.
Faced with separate billing systems for its wireline and wireless services, TOT Thailand was unable to launch bundled offers or print a single bill for subscribers of the two services. The divergent systems also inhibited collections and incurred double maintenance costs, impacting the bottom line. With Convergys Smart Communications Suite, which uses the Microsoft Dynamics® CRM platform, TOT Thailand will benefit from an affordable, pre-integrated, preconfigured, and fully convergent platform that will enable the provider to deploy and launch new and exciting consumer services rapidly. At the same time, the system’s real-time charging capabilities will help provide increased revenue assurance.
