PALO ALTO, Calif.-Triton PCS has deployed Agilent Technologies’ acceSS7 location solution to provide passive monitoring of its network.
Triton PCS will use the solution to help it comply with the Phase II requirements of the Federal Communications Commission’s E-911 requirements. According to Agilent, the solution builds a picture of the wireless network based on RF-channel data, allowing customers to be located within the FCC’s guidelines. Agilent said the solution eliminates the need for loading or polling and does not interfere with network performance.
