OCALA, Fla.-RMS Communications Group Inc. said it will partner with the Special Olympics to raise money for disabled athletes by collecting and recycling old cell phones.
Those who wish to donate their phone can register at www.recycleforspecialolympics.org and the company will send a box with prepaid postage they can use to mail in their phone. Or participants can drop their handsets off at collection bins located in their communities.
The year-long effort will begin Feb. 14, said the company.
