Hosted by Chris Martin, RCR Wireless News is pleased to host Austin songstress Phoebe Hunt Live, with music and an interview from the RCR Studio Lounge, just steps away from world-famous 6th Street in the heart of the Texas capital.

Sponsored by TelecomCareers.com, the industry’s largest resume database and jobs board, the RCR Studio Lounge is an open forum for newsmakers, authors, musicians, comedians, authors, artists and key influencers to enjoy entertainment, conversation, music and industry-related content in a relaxed setting.

We’re delighted to host our first guest this week in the lounge – the incandescent Austin native Phoebe Hunt. Her commanding voice can rattle you to your core with its sheer power and timeless sophistication that will captivate you as she revolutionizes what you think of when you think of fiddle music.

Like Phoebe Hunt? Want to support a great cause? Check out the One Village Music Project.

The One Village Music Project is a program of the Amala Foundation*. In three years alone, the One Village Music Project has gone from being a dream to a reality.  Our dream was to bring teens from around the world together to record one song.  In our first week-long program, we recorded an entire album, “Precious Human Life”, named after the track we created to honor the poem written by the Dalai Lama.

Collaborating to create the One Village Music Project, Austin artist Phoebe Hunt stepped in to co-create the program with the Amala Foundation, which unites youth from all walks of life and inspires them to grow as individuals and as leaders in service to humanity. Annually, the Amala Foundation serves over 1,000 youth through transformational programs like the One Village Music Project, Young Artists In Service and the Global Youth Peace Summit.

It is our goal to host this program ANNUALLY.  Please help us as we reach out and ask for support through this Kickstarter Campaign so that our program has a viable future, a tangible budget and the ability to expand its outreach in a way that allow this music to reach its full potential of global impact.

Phoebe Hunt: Dreamer, Artist, Musician. Like all troubadours, singer-songwriter Phoebe Hunt is a rambler. Recent years have seen the Texas native relocate from Austin to Nashville to her current residence in Brooklyn. This wanderlust is evident in the variety of projects she is a part of, moving in and out of multiple styles and genres of music with an effortless grace. Visit http://phoebehuntmusic.com/.

You may find her performing completely solo, with her violin and her voice drawing you into her mesmerizing vortex, or surrounded by a group of young musicians from all around the world as a part of The One Village Music Project, playing songs written and recorded at a program that Hunt initiated out of her desire to play a role in healing the world with music.
