CHICAGO-Pointsec, which provides enterprise security software for personal digital assistants and smart phones, released its Pointsec for Smartphone product.
The product is a new version of the company’s security software for smart phones running Windows Mobile Smartphone 2003. The new version includes sign-on and encryption for mobile devices, and e-mail and short message service data also can be encrypted and decrypted on the fly, said the company.
