The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has reported that there are more than 250,000 veterans exiting the military every year. Warriors 4 Wireless was created by Kelley Dunne, with industry and White House support, to help provide veterans with the transition, training, certification and placement assistance required to meet the wireless industry demand for 8,000-10,000 open positions that need to be filled in the next 18-36 months to keep pace with industrywide expansions and upgrades.
On this episode of Inside Telecom Careers, host Karla Macias is joined by Dunne, CEO of Warriors 4 Wireless, Warriors 4 Wireless Veteran Alumni Lucas Shingleton and RCR Wireless News’ Editorial Director Jeff Mucci. Dunne discusses how Warriors 4 Wireless is providing veterans with a road map for career advancement, training and certification in the wireless industry.

Dunne also talks about working with other organizations such as TIRAP, Aiken Community College and NATE.
