SAN FRANCISCO-Verizon Wireless, in partnership with General Motors’ OnStar, announced its America’s Choice with OnStar service plan is now available nationwide.
With the plan, Verizon customers with OnStar-equipped vehicles can share their Verizon minutes to make and receive calls on both their Verizon phones and OnStar in-vehicle systems.
With the plan, users can also transfer incoming calls from their Verizon phones to the OnStar system. Users can take advantage of “immediate call forwarding,” which directly forwards all calls from their Verizon phones to OnStar, or “conditional call forwarding,” which allows the Verizon phone to ring several times before the call is forwarded to OnStar.
The plan was originally rolled out in July in Atlanta, Kansas City, New York, San Francisco and Detroit, and is now available throughout Verizon’s network.
