ST. LOUIS-AAT Communications Corp. and Bechtel Telecommunications have signed a national two-year contract under which they will partner to offer wireless carriers a one-stop solution for tower siting and network expansion projects.
According to the partnership, Bechtel becomes AAT’s preferred contractor for new tower deployments, and AAT becomes Bechtel’s preferred tower ownership and management company. The companies also each retain flexibility to work with other partners.
“Our decision to work with AAT on a national scale is a significant milestone for both of us and a tremendous opportunity for our carrier customers, all of whom are looking for ways to accelerate their speed to market and simplify the increasing complexity of the wireless world,” said Bob Casamento, principal vice president at Bechtel.
The companies plan to begin immediately marketing their relationship to current and prospective customers.
