CHANTILLY, Va.-Newly merged mobile messaging company Mobileway-InphoMatch has teamed with Mobile Entertainment Europe, a mobile entertainment provider in Canada and Europe in an effort to bring mobile entertainment to the emerging U.S. market, the companies announced yesterday.
“With more than 140 million wireless subscribers, the U.S. represents the next major growth market for MEE, and Mobileway-InphoMatch was the natural choice to get us there,” said Paul Cebo, North American brand manager for mee. “Not only will the agreement expand our geographic reach and the number of mobile carriers MEE will be able to reach, it will attract more content developers to diversify our mobile content portfolio.”
Mobileway-InphoMatch already offers 30 mee entertainment options, including games such as Mr. Schizoo and Bubu. The two messaging companies merged last month and will announce a new name and other branding elements in coming weeks.
