LOS ANGELES-Mobile game manufacturer Jamdat Mobile Inc. increased revenues by nearly 400 percent in the second quarter this year compared with last year, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Jamdat netted $423,000 in the second quarter compared with last year’s net loss of $1.5 million over the same period. The company grossed $8.4 million during the quarter.
The game developer also reported a $1.2 million profit during the first half of 2004 as opposed to last year’s loss of $4.3 million. While Jamdat reportedly has $7.2 million cash on hand, it faces an accumulated debt of $19 million.
