Venture capital financing wrap-up: ComAbility, ON Networks, Tilefile and more

The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.

–ComAbility: Stata Ventures and Vertex Venture Capital co-led a $6 million round of financing into ComAbility, which develops subscriber and services operations platforms for carriers. The funding will allow the company to expand globally and continue new product development. Moty Ben-Arie, managing partner at Vertex, and Itzik Parnafes of Stata join the company’s board of directors in connection with the financing round.

–GetJar: Accel Partners invested an undisclosed amount into GetJar, a mobile application distribution and developer community, during the company’s Series A round of funding.

–ON Networks: Accel Partners led a $12 million funding round into ON Networks during the company’s second round of funding. ON Networks products Internet and mobile shows. Existing investors Austin Ventures and AT&T also participated. The funding will be used for new programming development.

–OpenPeak: RRE Ventures, J. Tomlinson Hill and Mort Topfer invested $30 million into OpenPeak Inc., which provides end-to-end system solutions and devices. The Series C funding will be used for the manufacture and launch of the company’s OpenFrame line of devices.

–Tilefile: Motorola Ventures made an equity investment into Tilefile Ltd., a social media platform company. Financial terms were not disclosed.
