VANCOUVER, British Columbia-Sierra Wireless said the Voq Professional Phone will be available to resellers in North America through a distribution agreement with CellStar following the completion of network compatibility testing on AT&T Wireless Services Inc.’s GSM/GPRS network.
The Voq device, designed for mobile professionals, serves as a mobile phone, personal messaging device and personal digital assistant. It includes a flip-open QWERTY thumb pad, Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 software and solutions for personal and corporate e-mail. In addition, myVoq software allows for predictive search, storage and sending of information.

“With the Voq Professional Phone, mobile professionals can have their phone, e-mail, calendar, contacts and mission-critical company information at their fingertips, meaning our resellers can bring real value to their business customers.”
The device should be commercially available to North American customers this month.
