PHILADELPHIA-Cotran Telecommunications L.L.C. said it is gearing up to introduce COTeLtalker110, which cell-phone users can attach to the Internet to allow any cell phone to make long-distance and international calls though a voice-over-IP network.
With COTeLtalker 110, mobile-phone users will save as much a $4.49 per minute per call compared with mobile carrier rates, according to CoTel. Callers will reach China for 5 cents per minute, India for 21 cents per minute, Iraq for 39 cents per minute, Mexico City for 7 cents per minute and the United Kingdom for 3 cents per minute, the company said.
The solution is the latest addition to the company’s suite of VoIP products. The line includes COTeLtalker100 and COTeLtalker4000 VoIP micro-gateways for small businesses, and TrueMINUTES, a prepaid reservationless conferencer and prepaid calling card.
