Shorecliff to co-locate tower show with CTIA in '05

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif.-Shorecliff Communications L.L.C. announced its 2005 Tower Summit & Tradeshow annual conference for the wireless tower industry will be co-located with the Cellular Telecommunication & Internet Association’s CTIA Wireless 2005 show.

“Tower Summit was launched eight years ago to serve the interests of the nascent tower industry,” explained Timothy Downs, president of Shorecliff. “Today in the same way, we combine the Tower Summit show and CTIA Wireless 2005 to serve the interests of the wireless infrastructure community going forward.”

Shorecliff will also sponsor the In-building Infrastructure Indoor Tower show at CTIA Wireless 2004 next week, and CTIA will support this year’s Tower Summit, taking place Sept. 14-15 in Las Vegas, with sponsorship of the Special VIP Carrier Program.

Co-locating with the carrier-heavy CTIA show could boost attendance at Tower Summit, since it makes the presence of wireless carriers (tower industry customers) more likely. The move also follows a busy 2003 show schedule in which newly formed tower industry association PCIA’s show was scheduled within weeks of the Shorecliff show.

CTIA Wireless 2005 is scheduled to take place March 14-16 in New Orleans.
