SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. announced the call for submissions for its BREW 2004 Developer Awards, which recognize outstanding applications designed to run on Qualcomm’s BREW solution.
“The purpose of the BREW 2004 Developer Awards is to recognize those applications that stand out worldwide as the best of the best,” said Mike Yuen, director of BREW developer relations for Qualcomm. “We expect fierce competition in this year’s program as the BREW system has experienced rapid growth on an international scale.”
The awards will recognize applications in six different categories: best productivity/m-commerce application; best entertainment application; best game application; best location-based service application; best communications application; and best information application.
