CANNES, France-Kineto Wireless, supplier of Mobile over Wireless LAN (MoWLAN) solutions, made several announcements at this week’s 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. Kineto has:
- chosen Hughes Software Systems’ GPRS Stack technology to ensure seamless interoperability of Kineto’s key INC-5501 component with existing core mobile network equipment.
- announced Inventel, a supplier of WLAN-enabled residential gateways, and IVT Corp., a provider of Bluetooth solutions for the ODM market, have joined the Kineto Innovation Partner Program. Inventel has licensed Kineto’s MoWLAN technology to develop an advanced residential gateway solution that supports MoWLAN services, and IVT has licensed the technology to develop advanced customer premises equipment solutions supporting MoWLAN services.
- announced it is developing and marketing MoWLAN solutions enabled by silicon software solution from Broadcom Corp., which provides broadband communications and WLAN networking technologies.
