The Mobile Entertainment Forum in Asia is hosting its annual board elections during Communicasia in Singapore next week, with hopes that some US based companies might be interested in running, to get their foot into Asia.
The MEF, a global trade association for the mobile media industry, says it is looking for industry leaders “who can contribute to the global mobile industry,” as well as “create thought leadership, share knowledge and address issues facing the mobile media industry.”
To be eligible to stand for the board elections, one would need to be a full member of the MEF and “be committed to the success of the board and its goals and objectives.”
There are five seats up for grabs in this election, and interested parties are advised to submit a photo and brief campaign statement (200 words max) to the MEF’s Office and Marketing Coordinator.
Associate Level members who want to upgrade their membership for a chance at running can likewise do so by emailing the group’s Asia General Manager, Linda Ruck.
The elections are set to take place at the Fullerton Hotel on June 22.
