SAN JOSE, Calif.-OFDM solution developer Wavesat Inc. said it has chosen Atmel Inc.’s product to design and make what it calls the first WiMax 802.16d chips.
“Using our .18 micron SiliconCity mixed-signal standard cell library for this complex design will offer Wavesat and its customers a high-performance and cost-effective solution.”
Wavesat said its goal is to create a system on a chip.
