Pinnacle Holdings changes name to Global Signal

SARASOTA, Fla.-Pinnacle Holdings, parent company of Pinnacle Towers, announced it has changed it name to Global Signal Inc., effective immediately.

“With a full portfolio of communications infrastructure services and new management team, Global Signal has reorganized and, as a result, is a more efficient and more customer-driven organization,” said David Grain, president of Global Signal, adding that the name change better reflects the reorganized company.

Pinnacle emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in late 2002 to operate as a private company. The company counts more than 3,300 tower and rooftop communications sites in its portfolio.
