With the PC market in the doldrums, one of the world’s biggest computer makers is quietly making money by proving that it’s amazing what you can get done if you don’t worry about who’s getting the credit. That adage informs Dell’s OEM Solutions, a multi-billion dollar business which counts
one out of four Fortune 100 companies as a customer. The OEM Solutions Group offers “white label” servers, PCs and even tech support to more than 40 vertical markets. Franklin Flint, who heads the OEM Solutions group, sees a huge opportunity in offering carrier grade servers and white label cloud services to the wireless industry. Flint spoke with RCR recently at TIA: Inside the Network.
