PCIA convention draws 1,400

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Wireless Infrastructure Association, better known as PCIA, said it drew its highest attendance numbers—1,400 registrants—to its annual trade show held last week in Nashville, Tenn.

The attendance tally marks a 5-percent increase from last year’s results, and signals the third year in a row that the PCIA has reported an increase of visitors to its annual gathering of tower infrastructure players and related businesses.

“PCIA diligently works to provide the best educational content and networking experience possible and these numbers reflect our efforts,” explained Michael Fitch, president and chief executive of the PCIA.

The group’s 2007 get-together is scheduled for Oct. 1-4 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla.
