Device Review: ZTE Optik – a tablet for teenagers

Most schools aren’t putting “iPad” on their lists of back-to-school supplies for students, but many teenagers are making their own lists with tablets at the top. Tablets can be useful tools for students, but many parents are not willing to invest in an iPad for the kids. (Even the refurbished first-generation iPads are still selling for more than $350.)
The ZTE Optik is one of the Android tablets that may bridge that gap between what parents will pay for and what teenagers want.
