- Indonesia: Nokia said it signed a contract with Telkomsel to provide W-CDMA 3G/HSPA radio and core network equipment and provide managed services for three years.
Russia: Sky Link, a CDMA450 operator in Russia, and Lucent Technologies Inc. announced a contract that calls for Lucent to supply equipment to increase the voice capacity of the carrier’s existing network and to add CDMA2000 1x EV-DO technology to the network.
